PatentBooks group patents by product

Patent owners are invited to list their patents in their appropriate PatentBook. A patent owner who lists patents in a PatentBook (at no charge) becomes a PatentBook Publisher. Publishers still own the patent, continue the licensing businesses they are involved in, and add the new PatentBook licensing income stream.

Publishers only pay to validate their self-evaluation of patents that they may conduct on patents that they select from their patents relevant to the PatentBook product. The validation and self-evaluation process is based on the transparent, standardized TAEUSworks™ methodology.

In global commerce today, there are large numbers of patents used in many common products and services.

Patents required for a particular application are sometimes so numerous that the process of identifying and negotiating with each patent owner is seemingly impossible.  If licensing transactions are simplified and reasonably priced, most users prefer to be transparent and license patents as required. In response to this fact, we assemble portfolios of patents for licensing in a single transaction, or “PatentBooks.”

PatentBooks facilitate cost-effective patent licenses between owners and users by aggregating patents relevant to a product, offering users a single price to license aggregated patents, and distributing the licensing income to owners based on quality patents.

Autonomous Vehicles

For autonomous vehicles, there are thousands of patent owners who are entitled to be compensated for the use of their patented intellectual property. But the bulk of autonomous vehicle patent users have been unable to identify, contact, and negotiate acceptable terms with many of them due to their sheer numbers and diversity.

Patent Evaluation

For our Clean Energy PatentBook, our PatentBooks team uses the TAEUSworks™ Evaluation Criteria process to evaluate all the clean energy patents published to it. Once evaluated, each patent will be placed in one of three tiers based on the quality and quantity of patents.

These separate tiers will determine how much the Subscriber will pay to license the clean energy patents, as well as how much revenue will be distributed to the Publisher of the patent.
